Meta is reportedly in discussions to bring on board Nat Friedman, the ex-CEO of GitHub, to bolster its artificial intelligence project. Concurrently, the company is also exploring the possibility of welcoming Daniel Gross, a partner at the NFDG venture capital fund, to its ranks. Furthermore, Meta is engaged in negotiations to acquire a stake in NFDG. Notably, Friedman already serves as a member of Meta's advisory board. Earlier, Meta announced a $14.3 billion investment in AI training startup Scale AI and appointed its CEO, Alexander Wang, to helm a new super-intelligence division. This strategic move underscores Meta's commitment to intensifying its AI investments and keeping pace with industry competitors.
