On April 26, Barry Lam, Chairman of Quanta, announced that the company's order volume this year has surpassed last year's figures, with expectations of sustained stability over the next two years fueled by robust customer demand from the four major American cloud service providers (CSPs). Lam further emphasized that Quanta is poised to transition from "OEM R&D" to "independent R&D," marking a significant shift in the company's R&D strategy. In response to the growing market demand for high-end servers, Quanta is expediting mass production of AI servers and intends to bolster investments in cutting-edge R&D areas, including heterogeneous computing and liquid cooling technology.
