Anthropic has reached an agreement with private equity firm Hg to jointly support a new European consulting organization. This marks the cutting-edge AI lab's first foray into the region, aiming to create an independent entity that provides AI expertise to local European businesses. According to sources familiar with the matter, the AI startup and the London-based buyout group will jointly establish an independent company to serve corporate clients. The new firm will deploy AI consultants and engineers to European businesses, including those within Hg's investment portfolio. These engineers will lead the design of new AI products or assist companies in advancing their existing AI projects to implementation.
