The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization has unveiled the Action Plan for Accelerating the High-Quality Development of Artificial Intelligence Empowerment in Industrial Services in Shanghai (2027 - 2028). This plan puts forward a series of measures aimed at reducing the usage costs of intelligent elements. For enterprises, if they use third-party large-scale model APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) or deploy such models privately to drive vertical applications, and also purchase high-quality corpora for research and development purposes, they are eligible for subsidies of up to 5 million yuan. In addition, support will be extended to industrial intelligent computing cloud platforms. These platforms are encouraged to roll out computing power benefit schemes tailored for enterprises. Enterprises that rent intelligent computing resources from non-affiliated entities for research and development applications can receive subsidies that cover up to 30% of their rental expenses.
