On October 22, during the main forum of the iFLYTEK Global 1024 Developers' Festival 2026, iFLYTEK officially introduced its latest innovation—the Spark X2.6, an advanced AI solution that seamlessly integrates on-device and cloud-based functionalities. This new iteration showcases simultaneous improvements in both cloud and on-device capabilities (Spark X2.6-4B), striking an optimal balance between task efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness. This is achieved through precise task allocation and on-demand collaboration strategies. Looking ahead, it is anticipated that approximately 60% of applications will be processed locally to bolster data security, 30% will leverage cloud collaboration for enhanced performance, and the remaining 10% will harness the power of large cloud-based models for complex problem-solving. Moreover, iFLYTEK also unveiled SparkAudio 1.0, a foundational large-scale model tailored for speech applications. This model not only supports core speech functionalities such as recognition, simultaneous interpretation, and interactive dialogue but also facilitates advanced audio analysis, including emotion detection, real-time speaker separation, and environmental sound interpretation.
