Recently, the 2026 Seminar on Application and Practice Innovation in Aerospace Science and Technology took place in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The event drew more than 300 experts and scholars from over 70 universities, 14 research institutes, and innovative enterprises nationwide. During the seminar, Associate Professor Zuo Yanchun, a rising star from Xidian University, presented an invited report titled "Meta-Modeling of Passive/Active Interference Radar Characteristics and Applications". His team introduced a hybrid multi-physical field modeling approach for capturing the dynamics and scattering properties of passive interferers in complex settings. This breakthrough encompasses key technologies such as the diffusion of chaff clouds and the composite dynamics of corner reflectors. Furthermore, they pioneered the first domestically developed 3D model fabrication and intelligent scattering measurement system specifically for chaff clouds. The relevant achievements have been successfully implemented in several key units, offering robust support for equipment development and performance optimization.
