Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced a long-term plan for humanoid robot training, aiming to build a training facility housing approximately 10,000 Optimus robots. This facility will simulate real-world environments to accelerate robot learning and experience accumulation. Currently, the design of Optimus is nearing finalization, with the V3 version scheduled to start mass production at the Fremont factory by the end of 2026, targeting a long-term annual production capacity of 1 million units. Tesla is advancing its supply chain development, with core component manufacturers already beginning preparations for production. Meanwhile, the robots are undergoing AI training within the factory to prepare for mass production.
