On October 22, the 2026 World Physical AI Conference and Unitree Partner Ecosystem Conference were held in Hangzhou. Wang Xingxing, Chairman of Unitree Technology, pointed out in his keynote speech that leading large model companies have largely achieved model self-evolution, where models can autonomously write programs and collect data, with humans only needing to provide appropriate guidance. However, since it takes 5 to 10 years for technological breakthroughs to transition into widespread applications, the public has not yet fully grasped this transformation. Currently, breakthroughs in physical AI are beginning to emerge. For embodied AI to progress beyond a development stage similar to ChatGPT, the key lies in achieving precise alignment between the input and output of AI models and real robots.
