At the 2026 World Conference on Embodied AI and Unitree Partner Ecosystem Conference, Wang Xingxing, the founder of Unitree Technology, expressed a commonly held sentiment: globally, there remains a pervasive lack of emphasis on and confidence in AI, a sentiment he himself once shared. However, with the advent of GPT-6, the landscape is shifting, signaling significant breakthroughs in the realm of embodied AI. Wang envisions a future where embodied intelligence will outshine even the monumental impact of ChatGPT within the next 1-3 years. He pointed out that the paramount challenge at present is ensuring seamless integration between the inputs and outputs of AI models and their physical robotic counterparts. Furthermore, Wang predicts that the adoption of AI in the commercial service sector will outpace that in both the household and industrial sectors.
