On October 21, 2026, at the GTC Berlin conference, NVIDIA unveiled the DSX POD reference architecture. This move came as part of a collaborative effort with industry leaders including Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric, and Vertiv, aiming to foster the growth of the ecosystem. The DSX POD adopts a modular container design, where computing power and supporting infrastructure are seamlessly integrated and rigorously validated within the factory setting. Upon delivery, users can effortlessly deploy it by simply connecting it to on-site infrastructure such as power supplies, cooling systems, and networks. Relevant partners have set their sights on rolling out these modular AI factories across the globe in early 2027, a move that promises to slash deployment times from a hefty six months down to a swift 14 days.
