OpenAI has announced that ChatGPT users can now enable the 'Lock Chat' feature for specific conversations. Once locked, these conversations will be removed from regular records, pinned lists, and general search results, and moved to the 'Items—Locked Chats' section. To reaccess them, users will need to enter a four-digit account PIN or, on supported mobile devices, verify through Face ID, Touch ID, or device unlock methods. This feature is available for Free, Go, Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans and is being rolled out gradually, but is not currently supported for the Healthcare plan.
