This search functionality has already been extensively utilized within Tencent's internal Agents ecosystem and is now accessible to developers in three distinct formats: Skill, MCP, and API. Over the past year, Yuanbao has systematically amalgamated publicly accessible resources from the internet and premium content from Tencent's own repositories. By integrating advanced large model technology throughout the entire workflow—from indexing and comprehension to retrieval—Yuanbao has crafted a search engine specifically designed for large models and Agents.

At present, Yuanbao Search boasts an index scale in the trillions, with daily usage surpassing hundreds of millions of calls, thereby bolstering over 50 core Tencent businesses. It has integrated 157 authoritative information sources spanning 13 vertical industries, achieving over 99% coverage of financial reports from multiple mainstream stocks and supporting minute-level updates for diverse information types.

During the retrieval process, Yuanbao Search adeptly handles various ambiguities, clarifying users' true intentions. It comprehensively evaluates multi-dimensional factors during ranking to ensure core information is effectively captured with minimal document output, thereby reducing redundancy and conflicts. Tailored to the link characteristics inherent in Agents, Yuanbao Search optimizes performance through a multi-layered architecture. This approach significantly diminishes time consumption at each link while maintaining a high recall rate of 94%, ultimately achieving an end-to-end response time reduction of nearly 1 second.
