On October 20, a press conference was convened by the State Council Information Office, where it was disclosed that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is in the process of researching and formulating policy measures tailored for next-generation intelligent manufacturing. The objective is to expedite the profound integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with the manufacturing industry. Capitalizing on China's robust AI innovation ecosystem and the wide array of manufacturing scenarios, the ministry is set to concentrate its efforts on four pivotal domains: the systematic nurturing of smart factories, the pioneering advancement of intelligent equipment, the swift attainment and widespread adoption of smart technologies, and the intensification of global collaboration in the realm of intelligent manufacturing.
