In an interview held in Shanghai, Tim Cook disclosed that the beta iteration of Apple Intelligence is set to debut in China by the close of October. This iteration will incorporate Alibaba's QianWen large language model, offering features such as real-time translation, writing aids, photo editing tools, and more. However, Siri AI will not be part of the initial release. Since its inception in June 2024, Apple Intelligence had been awaiting approval for use in China. This approval was finally granted after the relevant large model successfully completed regulatory filing in July of this year.

In the meantime, Apple's inaugural foldable iPhone Duo has also secured the renewal of its network access license, with the addition of three new large model filing numbers. This development signifies a significant stride in Apple's efforts to roll out AI capabilities in China. Presently, domestic AI-powered smartphones have transitioned into the 2.0 era, with the competitive landscape centering on system functionalities, such as AI ecosystems. The introduction of Apple Intelligence in China is poised to propel on-device AI into a fresh growth avenue for Apple's supply chain, thereby augmenting the overall value of the supply chain.

Institutions maintain a positive outlook on the performance of the Apple supply chain over the forthcoming three years. Related concept stocks encompass Sunny Optical Technology, Q Tech, AAC Technologies, Cowell E Holdings, and Lens Technology. These companies are strategically positioned in the respective supporting domains for Apple-related supply and AI enterprises.
