Tencent’s local AI assistant, QClaw, will officially shut down at 00:00 on December 24, 2026, as part of strategic business adjustments. Effective immediately, QClaw will no longer accept new user registrations, purchases of subscription services, or renewals. Users with automatic renewals enabled will not incur further charges. Current users have the option to transfer their data to WorkBuddy via the official website portal. QClaw is a key component of Tencent’s comprehensive "Lobster" product lineup, which was unveiled in March of this year. Built upon the OpenClaw framework, QClaw offers cross-platform installation capabilities and facilitates remote operation through WeChat interactions. On July 20 of this year, Tencent integrated QClaw’s services into the WorkBuddy ecosystem.
