Recently, Qiyuan Xinchuang (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shangwei Advanced Materials, has made Pudong its new home. Recognized as a pivotal artificial intelligence project in Shanghai, the company inked an agreement and set up shop in Zhangjiang Robot Valley at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference.
Serving as the cornerstone of Shangwei Advanced Materials' strategic foray into the consumer-grade embodied intelligence domain, Qiyuan Xinchuang has already made waves by introducing the world's inaugural personal robot, the 'Qiyuan Q1,' and a versatile, transformable personal robot, the 'Qiyuan T1.'
Looking ahead, Qiyuan Xinchuang has ambitious plans for the next three years. The company intends to consistently allocate significant research and development resources, with the goal of unveiling at least two innovative consumer-grade robot products each year. Furthermore, it aspires to cultivate a fully in-house-developed Primemind foundation model and establish a cutting-edge product design innovation center, a sprawling full-scenario testing and assembly hub, as well as a collaborative ecosystem construction and sharing platform.
