On July 23, 2026, Anthropic announced a major update to the voice mode of its conversational assistant, Claude, officially supporting its flagship models, Opus and Sonnet, and introducing new cross-app ecosystem automation capabilities. Users can now directly operate apps like Gmail and Google Calendar through voice commands to execute complex tasks. The new version supports 10 languages, with free users able to connect to a single app using the Haiku model, while paid users can unlock full model access and multi-app collaboration.
