NVIDIA has entered into a substantial $1 billion investment pact with South Korea's internet behemoth, Naver, with the ambitious goal of scaling up the NVIDIA DSX AI factory to a formidable 200-megawatt capacity. In tandem with this expansion, both entities are set to join forces with Brookfield Asset Management to secure financial backing of up to $9 billion. The upgraded factory will harness NVIDIA's cutting-edge platform to deliver top-tier computing services to AI enterprises in both South Korea and the United States. Notably, Brookfield Asset Management already oversees a hefty $12 billion in assets within South Korea. Looking ahead, Naver has grand plans to further amplify NVIDIA's infrastructure to a staggering 1 gigawatt and is geared up to unveil an AI Agent platform, built on the foundation of the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, in the latter half of this year.
