With the financial support from NVIDIA, OpenAI is set to lease a sizable data center project in southern Ohio. This project is being developed by the energy subsidiary of SoftBank Group and has an impressive capacity of up to 10 gigawatts. When factoring in the deployment of internal chips, the overall investment is anticipated to surpass $500 billion, thereby establishing it as the largest data center project planned on a global scale.
