He presented two primary requests: firstly, to make public the complete operational path of the rogue AI agent for scrutiny by the general public and academic circles; secondly, to urge OpenAI to supply computing resources valued at $100 million to bolster Hugging Face's cybersecurity measures. Delangue underscored the significance of this event, noting that it marked the inaugural cyber assault perpetrated by an autonomous agent, thereby necessitating an extraordinary countermeasure. At the time of reporting, OpenAI had not issued any statements regarding the incident.
