Lee Jae-myung emphasized that South Korea must capitalize on the growth opportunities presented by the new AI wave and forge the country into an indispensable nation, cultivating a widespread belief among countries that 'they cannot advance their industries without South Korea.'
The day before, Lee Jae-myung participated in a high-profile industrial cooperation summit. During the event, American tech behemoths such as NVIDIA, OpenAI, and Anthropic inked numerous commercial cooperation pacts with South Korean firms like Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. An official from the presidential office disclosed that the cumulative value of these collaborative projects soared to a staggering US$950 billion.
