On the very day of the agreement's signing, the groundbreaking ceremony for the JD Property RoboBase project—the inaugural tangible benchmark endeavor under this partnership—took place in Guangzhou Huangpu Science City. This project represents JD.com's maiden foray into the global robotics sector on such a grand scale, boasting a sprawling construction area of roughly 190,000 square meters. Envisioned as a multifaceted hub, the project is slated for completion by the close of 2028, with projections indicating an annual output value of approximately RMB 1.75 billion upon attaining full operational capacity.
