NVIDIA has introduced a full-stack safety system for the fields of physical AI and robotics, called "Halos for Robotics," providing a unified safety architecture for intelligent robots operating in real-world environments. The system integrates AI computing chips IGX Thor, the Holoscan Sensor Bridge for sensor connectivity, the Halos OS software stack, and an AI safety certification lab, forming an integrated safety system that combines "computation + perception + decision-making + certification." The first partner, Agility, has already integrated this system into its humanoid robot, Digit, for applications in factory and logistics settings.
