On June 22, 2026, Google Cloud and Nokia unveiled an expanded partnership aimed at integrating Google's Gemini models into Nokia's network software suite, known as the Nokia Assurance Center. As part of this collaboration, the two companies will co-develop six specialized AI agents based on the Gemini models. These agents include: a Routing Agent, designed to optimize network traffic paths; an Event Classification Agent, which categorizes network incidents for faster response; a KPI Selector Agent, to identify key performance indicators; an Anomaly Reasoning Agent, for detecting and diagnosing unusual network behavior; an Action Reasoning Agent, to suggest corrective measures; and a Dashboard Agent, for visualizing network data and insights.
Together, these agents will empower telecom operators to lower operational expenses, swiftly pinpoint network issues, and facilitate the transition towards fully automated network operations and maintenance. The official roadmap includes a live demonstration of these agents' capabilities at the DTW Ignite conference, scheduled to take place in Copenhagen from June 23 to 25.
