Alipay has issued a statement to serve as a reminder: Following the rollout of the invitation-only test for its AI-powered iteration, known as "Abao", there has been a surge in transactions concerning 'internal test invitation codes for Alipay's AI version' across various online platforms. Alipay has made it clear that it has never granted permission to any third-party entity to conduct paid transactions for these codes. Moreover, Abao invitation codes are not subject to any fees; they are available at no cost through sharing by users who have already activated the service. In the meantime, Alipay is progressively broadening the scope of the invitation-only test for Abao.
