On June 13, according to The Wall Street Journal, sources familiar with the matter revealed that a coalition of attorneys general from multiple U.S. states has launched an investigation into OpenAI. OpenAI received a subpoena on June 12, demanding the submission of documents related to various business activities and their impact on users. Previously, OpenAI has already faced multiple lawsuits concerning design issues with its chatbot ChatGPT, which allegedly led to user suicides or caused adverse effects.
