On June 12th, Sharon AI, an Australian AI cloud service provider, unveiled a six-year strategic partnership with NVIDIA. This collaboration entails augmenting data center capacity by 72 megawatts in Australia and implementing NVIDIA's DSX AI Factory architecture, with provisions for future expansion to house up to 40,000 Grace Blackwell GB300 GPUs. The primary objective of this initiative is to cater to the escalating computational requirements of AI startups, commercial enterprises, and university research bodies. Subsequent to this agreement, Sharon AI's overall AI factory capacity will surge to 132 megawatts, with 102 megawatts already secured through contracts with end customers. The company projects the deployment of over 55,000 NVIDIA GPUs by mid-2027.
