As a cornerstone public event during his tenure as Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook is poised to fully unveil Apple’s strategic vision for artificial intelligence at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). At the conference, Apple is expected to introduce a new generation of Siri, its iconic voice assistant that has been a staple for 15 years. This upgraded Siri will achieve a significant technological leap by deeply integrating with Google’s Gemini model, enabling core functionalities such as seamless multi-round conversations, cross-application operations, and real-time screen content awareness. The revamped Siri will be accessible as a standalone application across all Apple devices. It is set to replace Spotlight as the default search entry point in the iOS system and will be integrated into the camera app, allowing for real-time object recognition and providing scientific explanations. Although the current version is still in beta testing, it has already transitioned from a simple voice tool to an AI-powered personal assistant, representing a qualitative leap in interaction logic, system integration, and technological sophistication.
