Despite being embroiled in a legal dispute with the U.S. Department of Defense, artificial intelligence firm Anthropic continues to collaborate with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) in deploying its high-performance Mythos large-scale model. This collaboration aims to bolster offensive cyber operations, with Anthropic having dispatched around six technical engineers to the NSA to offer on-site technical assistance. These engineers are tasked with guiding the model’s application and tailoring and refining the AI model to meet the NSA’s specific requirements. Insiders with knowledge of the situation have revealed that the Mythos model is capable of infiltrating the network systems of other nations.
