Morgan Stanley is set to open its core wealth management business channels to thousands of enterprises for the use of artificial intelligence agents, marking one of the earlier cases among major Wall Street investment banks to provide external access to a third-party AI tool platform. According to Mark Mitchell, Chief Product Officer of Morgan Stanley's workplace business, autonomous AI agents on the client side will be able to bypass traditional software interfaces and directly obtain data and analytical conclusions from the brokerage's equity management platforms, ShareWorks and Equity Edge. Previously, Morgan Stanley executives revealed that, leveraging the company's workplace wealth layout (layout/deployment), it has amassed $1.2 trillion in assets under management.
