On June 1st, Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, made a significant announcement: NVIDIA is forging a partnership with Unitree Technology to unveil a cutting-edge reference design for a new generation of humanoid robots—the H2+, also recognized as the Isaac GR00T system. This collaboration is geared towards propelling innovation within the global humanoid robotics sector. Huang highlighted that the system has undergone seamless integration, boasting a robotic frame with 31 degrees of freedom and robotic hands each endowed with 25 degrees of freedom. Standing at an impressive height of roughly 1.8 meters and weighing around 68 kilograms, this humanoid robot is poised to redefine the landscape of robotic technology.
