The upcoming phase of development within the robotics sector will zero in on the ability to seamlessly and efficiently integrate multiple systems. The Qualcomm Yuelong IQ10 Robotics Reference Design (RRD) is tailored precisely for AI systems that boast integrated sensors, suitable for large-scale production. It encompasses heterogeneous computing, AI acceleration, sensor interfaces, motion control, network connectivity, and a tiered robotics software stack, offering an impressive AI computing power of up to 700 TOPS. It inherently supports the integration of 12 GMSL2 cameras along with a variety of sensors, simplifying the integration process and minimizing latency. The design is characterized by deterministic control and real-time I/O capabilities, guaranteeing stable operation in temperatures spanning from -40°C to 70°C, and accommodates both 12V and 24V power supplies. Its comprehensive software stack facilitates development, deployment, and fleet management, encompassing essential functions such as perception, navigation, control, task planning, and natural language interaction, thus expediting the journey of industrial robots, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and humanoid robots from the prototype stage to mass production. Presently, the initial cohort of partners has embarked on exploring its vast potential.
