The General Office of the Guangdong Provincial Government has released the Three-Year Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of Trade in Services in Guangdong Province (2026-2028). This plan is designed to solidify Guangdong's export prowess in telecommunications, computer, and information services. It also aims to foster the growth of digital industries, including next-generation electronic information, and to bolster support for research and development in digital technology. Simultaneously, the plan will nurture technologically advanced service enterprises, facilitate the export of standards and products propelled by mature industrial technologies, and boost international competitiveness. Furthermore, it will establish a comprehensive open-source community for artificial intelligence, expedite the development of industrial innovation platforms such as embodied intelligence training facilities, push forward technological research and development and industrialization of achievements at collaborative platforms like the Sino-Singapore International Joint Research Institute, as well as the development of high-tech ecological industrial parks such as the Shenzhen-Malaysia park. Additionally, it will support the full industrial chain development of software development, robotics, and other sectors in Qianhai.
