KPMG has entered into a strategic partnership with artificial intelligence firm Anthropic, with the goal of seamlessly integrating Claude's AI tools into its global tax and advisory operations. This integration is set to boost operational efficiency and transform the way employees work. This collaboration represents Anthropic's inaugural foray into deeply embedding the Claude AI system within the core tax platforms of a Big Four accounting firm. KPMG is in the process of transitioning its advisory services to a new platform built around Claude, with a full rollout anticipated by the end of September. Once fully implemented, Claude AI will oversee two key business processes. While audit services will not initially utilize the system, all staff members will have access to its functionalities. This initiative is expected to substantially decrease manual workloads and foster a mutually beneficial environment. Anthropic has chosen KPMG to aid in delivering advisory services to private equity firms. Prior to this, Anthropic has also forged agreements with Deloitte, PwC, and other entities, as AI companies increasingly partner with consulting firms to drive technological adoption.
