On May 19, during the AMD AI Developer Day event, AMD Chair and CEO Su Zifeng emphasized that artificial intelligence is now at a pivotal turning point. Reflecting on her more than 30 years in the technology sector, she expressed unprecedented enthusiasm for AI’s current trajectory. Su Zifeng forecasted that by 2030, as many as 5 billion people globally will engage with AI on a daily basis. She also highlighted how AI’s evolution is reshaping the role of CPUs, predicting a 1:1 integration ratio between CPUs and GPUs. Ultimately, she envisions AI becoming an omnipresent force, seamlessly integrated into every device we use.
