According to an investor letter, the hedge fund TCI, managed by Christopher Hohn, has reduced its stake in Microsoft from 10% of its portfolio at the end of last year to just 1% by the end of March. Hohn stated that the reduction in Microsoft holdings was due to the rapid development of artificial intelligence, which has introduced uncertainty regarding Microsoft's future competitive position. The primary concern centers on its Office software business, while also acknowledging certain risks associated with its Azure cloud services.
