On April 6 (local time), Anthropic announced the signing of new agreements with Google and Broadcom to procure several gigawatts of next-generation TPU computing power, supporting the research, development, and global deployment of the Claude model. The company stated that customer demand for Claude has grown significantly this year, with annualized revenue exceeding $30 billion, a substantial increase from approximately $9 billion at the end of 2025. The newly added computing power is expected to become operational starting in 2027, with most of it to be deployed in the United States.
