On March 30, Midea Group unveiled its 2025 annual report, revealing that its total annual operating revenue soared to 458.5 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 12.1%. Its net profit also climbed to 43.95 billion yuan, up by 14% from the previous year. Midea is in the midst of transforming into a global "AI+" technology conglomerate. Leveraging AI capabilities across four key business domains, including smart homes and intelligent manufacturing, the company has realized internal operational efficiency enhancements exceeding 15 million hours and achieved cost savings of 700 million yuan throughout the year. Furthermore, Midea has outlined plans to allocate over 60 billion yuan towards pioneering research and development endeavors over the next three years.
