The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released a notice to initiate the Industrial Data Foundation Building Action, spearheading pilot projects aimed at constructing high-quality industry datasets with the aid of artificial intelligence. The plan sets an ambitious goal to foster a cluster of industry data cooperation consortia and to set up a reliable interconnection platform for data within key industries by the close of 2026. This endeavor will encompass the aggregation of industry data resources, addressing pivotal data technologies, formulating industrial data standards, and creating superior, standardized, and marketable industry datasets. The initiative will champion the deployment of applications such as industry-wide large-scale models and industrial intelligent agents, forging effective pathways, innovative mechanisms, and experiential models for the efficient collection and processing of industrial data, its secure circulation and aggregation, and its profound integration and application. This will aid industries in enhancing quality, curtailing costs, and boosting efficiency, while also delving into novel models for the construction, development, and utilization of high-quality datasets within the industrial realm.
