On February 20th, OpenAI founder Altman stated at the India AI Impact Summit that early versions of true superintelligence may emerge within a few years. It is expected that by the end of 2028, more of the world's intellectual resources will be stored in data centers. Altman also predicted that superintelligence will be capable of serving as CEOs of large companies, outperforming any human executive, and possibly even surpassing top scientists.
