Technology behemoth Microsoft, which has recently witnessed market sell-offs prompted by its capital expenditures, is now grappling with fresh challenges. As per the most recent reports, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is scrutinizing whether Microsoft is leveraging its cloud software and AI offerings to erect barriers and unlawfully hinder competition within the enterprise computing power sector. The FTC has dispatched civil investigative demands to a minimum of six of Microsoft's rivals to delve into Microsoft's licensing arrangements and business conduct. Consequently, Microsoft's share price has persisted in its downward trajectory, plummeting to its nadir since April of the preceding year.
