On February 13, Nomura Securities released an AI-themed research report, focusing on DeepSeek's upcoming new-generation flagship large language model, V4. Nomura pointed out that DeepSeek's DS-V3/R1, launched last year, has already had a significant impact on the global AI industry chain. Its new layout will accelerate the innovation cycle of China's AI industry chain and narrow the gap between China and the global large model industry at the algorithmic and engineering levels through technological innovation. Nomura believes that the technological breakthroughs of DS-V4 will effectively break through the limitations of the 'chip wall' and 'memory wall', promoting the coordinated development of local computing hardware and AI applications, and driving the maturity of China's open-source large model ecosystem.
