Today marks the official release of Doubao’s video generation model, Seedance 2.0, which is now available for use via the Doubao App, as well as its desktop and web-based versions. To create video content, users simply need to open the chat feature in the Doubao App, choose the newly introduced 'Seedance 2.0' option, and enter their desired prompts to generate videos lasting either 5 or 10 seconds. Seedance 2.0 offers a range of advanced capabilities, including synchronized original audio and video integration, the ability to craft multi-shot, long-form narratives, and multimodal controllable generation. By inputting prompts along with reference images, users can produce multi-shot videos complete with original soundtracks. The model is designed to automatically assess narrative logic, ensuring that character portrayal, lighting, style, and atmosphere remain consistent throughout the sequence of shots. It should be noted that, at present, Seedance 2.0 does not permit the use of real-life images as subject references.
