Kevin Kelly, the founding editor-in-chief of Wired magazine in the United States, made a bold statement at the Sustainable Global Leaders Conference. He asserted that artificial intelligence (AI) will not only make China "cooler" in the global arena but also significantly enhance the quality of life for its citizens and facilitate the global dissemination of Chinese culture.
Kelly went on to predict that China will achieve a milestone by returning to the moon ahead of the United States and will lead the world in the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence chips within the next five years. He further speculated that, post-2050, Chinese factories will operate with complete autonomy, with their products reaching markets across the globe. Over the course of the next 25 years, he envisions China becoming even more "cool" as a result of its advancements in green and sustainable development technologies.
