On October 16, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, Foxconn's stock price experienced another significant surge on Thursday, propelled by investors' fervor for artificial intelligence (AI). Foxconn Chairman Young Liu revealed that he had already held a meeting with Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, and had scheduled a subsequent meeting with Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, later in the month to explore potential collaborative opportunities. Liu emphasized that the application of AI is still in its nascent stages and voiced his confidence in the market's enduring growth potential. Buoyed by this news, Foxconn's stock price soared by 8% on Thursday in the Taipei stock market, marking a cumulative increase of 21% for the year to date.
