On September 26, during the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo, Wang Xingxing, the founder and CEO of Unitree Robotics, disclosed that the company's robot algorithms have gone through multiple rounds of iteration this year. As a result, they anticipate unveiling a humanoid robot, standing at a towering 1.8 meters, in the latter half of the year. He highlighted that the domestic robotics industry witnessed robust growth in the first half of this year, with Chinese enterprises specializing in intelligent robots achieving an average growth rate ranging from 50% to 100%. Recently, Unitree Robotics has further refined its algorithms, substantially bolstering the stability of its robots and introducing an anti-gravity mode. This advancement allows the robot to swiftly recover its upright stance after being disturbed. Equipped with these upgraded algorithms, the robot is theoretically capable of executing a diverse array of dance and martial arts maneuvers.
