On September 26, the Financial Times disclosed that the Trump administration had entered into an agreement with Musk's xAI, paving the way for the extensive utilization of its AI tools across various government departments. As per the terms of the agreement, xAI is set to supply federal agencies with the Grok chatbot, imposing a mere nominal charge of $0.42 per department annually for an 18-month duration. It's noteworthy that Musk and Trump had previously experienced a public falling-out over policy discrepancies. This newfound collaboration, however, could be interpreted as a sign of a possible reconciliation between the two.
