Yunnan Tourism has revealed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen OCT Culture & Tourism Technology Group Co., Ltd., has entered into a strategic cooperation pact with Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center Co., Ltd. The collaboration will focus on three key areas:

Firstly, both entities will collaborate to set up an innovation lab, assemble a joint research and development team, and concentrate on the core technological advancements of robots tailored for cultural and tourism settings. This will involve addressing critical technical hurdles, such as achieving high-dynamic full-body coordinated control.

Secondly, they will champion the integration of robotic products into cultural and tourism contexts, with a particular emphasis on crafting robotic dinosaurs and other similar products that are well-suited for theme parks and scenic locations.

Thirdly, the partnership will institute a mechanism for talent exchange and joint training, with the shared goal of nurturing experts in the realm of cultural and tourism robotics. At present, the collaboration is still in its nascent phase.
