Nebius Group has inked a deal with Microsoft, aiming to supply artificial intelligence infrastructure for Microsoft's newly established data center in New Jersey. The total contract value soars up to a staggering $19.4 billion. Specifically, Microsoft will disburse $17.4 billion over a span of five years, and an extra $2 billion will be added to the bill should there be a need for additional services or expanded capacity. Nebius stated that this marks the inaugural contract of its kind and anticipates signing similar agreements with prominent AI labs and tech giants in the future. It's worth noting that Nebius, an enterprise supported by NVIDIA, successfully parted ways with Russian internet behemoth Yandex last year.
