On September 9, 2025, the Hangzhou Municipal Economy and Information Technology Bureau officially launched a public consultation on the "Three-Year Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of Hangzhou's Artificial Intelligence Terminal Industry (2025–2027) (Draft for Public Comment)." According to the proposed plan, by 2027, Hangzhou aims to propel its AI terminal industry to a scale of RMB 300 billion, spearheading 100 pivotal scientific research projects, unveiling 30 groundbreaking terminal products, nurturing 20 proprietary brands, and showcasing 50 exemplary application scenarios.
The plan encompasses a broad spectrum of sectors, spanning intelligent visual terminals, intelligent computing terminals, intelligent robots, smart wearable gadgets, intelligent in-car systems, smart instrumentation, home automation terminals, intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles, and intelligent industrial terminals. It underscores the imperative of fostering synergy between artificial intelligence and other transformative technologies, paving the way for the deployment of revolutionary future terminals such as quantum computing terminals, 6G-enabled devices, and flying cars.
